Dr Richard is the principal dentist at Murrumba Downs Family Dental and has been providing exceptional dental care since graduating with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from James Cook University in 2014. With over 10 years of experience working across both metropolitan and rural communities in Australia and New Zealand, Richard brings a broad and compassionate perspective to his practice.

He is passionate about helping patients achieve healthy, confident smiles through a personalized approach to care that balances function and aesthetics. Richard understands that every patient is unique, and he takes the time to tailor each treatment plan to individual needs, ensuring comfort, clarity, and long-term results.

Committed to clinical excellence, Richard stays at the forefront of dental advancements through ongoing professional development. He has completed extensive training, including a postgraduate residency in orthodontics, and regularly integrates the latest technologies and techniques into his practice.

Outside the clinic, Richard is a firm believer in the power of healthy living. He is currently training for the full Brisbane Marathon and enjoys educating patients on the important link between oral health and overall well-being.

Cynthia is a Brisbane north side local. She completed her Bachelor of Dental Science at the University of Queensland in 2008. Cynthia moved to Rockhampton in Central Queensland where she worked at the Base Hospital. In 2010, Cynthia also began working for a private practice in Rockhampton. After two and a half years in Rockhampton, Cynthia moved back to Brisbane. She has continued to practice in both the public and private sectors, in north Brisbane for the past eleven years.

Cynthia enjoys performing all aspects of general dentistry and strongly believes in the prevention and conservative management of oral diseases. Cynthia takes pride in her patient’s experiences. It is her main priority for patient’s to have positive experiences, especially for those who are particularly anxious, young or just young at heart.

Cynthia is also dedicated to continual professional learning so she can provide the best level of oral health care possible.

Outside of dentistry, when she’s not chasing after her two young children, Cynthia enjoys participating in social sport. She also enjoys travelling and is an avid foodie.

Dr Li Yeoh grew up in Malaysia and completed her Bachelor of Dental Science at the University of Queensland in 2020. She now proudly calls Brisbane home.

Li enjoys all aspects of general dentistry, with particular interests in oral surgery and restorative dentistry. Having spent five years practising in the regional communities of Toowoomba and Crows Nest, she has developed a strong appreciation for preventative care and oral health education. Li is known for her gentle, honest communication and is committed to helping patients feel safe, informed, and supported throughout their dental journey.

Outside of dentistry, Li has a passion for sport and dance. She enjoys challenging herself physically and is currently working towards achieving her first muscle-up — a goal she’s determined to tick off this year.

Dr Rob graduated from his Bachelor of Dental Surgery from James Cook Univeristy in 2015 and completed a Masters of Clinical Dentistry with a major in Oral Surgery at Griffith University in 2022. He is also an inducted member of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons.

Rob’s training and passion for oral surgery allows him to provide seamless wisdom tooth removal and other oral surgery procedures. He can also help those more anxious patients through their procedures using sedation techniques such as inhalation sedation (happy gas).

Rob enjoys playing soccer and taking his car to the race track. He fills the majority of the rest of his free time with his partner and dogs.

Amy’s passion for dentistry began at a young age, inspired by her own orthodontic journey and the positive impact it had on her confidence. After high school, her curiosity led her to explore a variety of fields, including digital media, animation and physics. She completed a Bachelor of Physics and Mathematics at QUT and undertook further studies in Games Design (Animation) before ultimately returning to her original goal — studying Dentistry at The University of Queensland.

Today, Amy feels incredibly fortunate to be caring for the Murrumba Downs community. She is known for her friendly, approachable nature and her genuine commitment to helping patients feel comfortable and confident in their smiles. Amy takes pride in providing gentle, patient-centred care and enjoys building lasting relationships with families of all ages.

Outside the clinic, Amy enjoys reading, gaming, attending live music events, and organising an annual charity ball and market in support of Hummingbird House, Queensland’s only children’s hospice.

Dr Lorraine graduated with Distinction from the University of Otago School of Dentistry in New Zealand in 2005. Since then, she has gained extensive experience working throughout New Zealand in both private practice and hospital settings, from Auckland in the North Island to Nelson in the South Island.

Passionate about lifelong learning, Lorraine returned to university to complete a Postgraduate Diploma in Paediatric Dentistry in 2020. She is committed to continually expanding her knowledge and skills to provide the highest standard of care for her patients.

In 2024, Lorraine and her family made the move to Queensland, drawn by the beautiful weather, welcoming community, and relaxed lifestyle. She has thoroughly enjoyed settling into Brisbane and becoming part of the local community.

Lorraine is passionate about helping patients feel confident in their smiles again, whether through improving dental health, enhancing aesthetics, or supporting those who experience dental anxiety. Known for her warm, gentle, and compassionate approach, she takes the time to understand each patient’s individual needs and believes in treating the whole person, not just their teeth.

Outside of clinical practice, Lorraine is also a Clinical Educator at the University of Queensland School of Dentistry, where she enjoys mentoring and supporting the next generation of dentists.

When she’s not at work, Lorraine loves spending time with her family and can usually be found with a good book in hand.

Fred is one of our senior dentists at Murrumba Downs Family Dental. Fred is passionate about providing high quality dental care for all patients. Born and raised in Brisbane, Fred has many ties with the local community. He is popular with patients for his down to earth nature and painless dental work.

Fred was offered a dentistry position at the University of Queensland with a full 5 year UQ Excellence Scholarship and graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Science with Honours from the University of Queensland (2011) with numerous academic awards. Fred has a real love for dental knowledge, and has completed a post-graduate Masters in Clinical Dentistry in Dental Implants from Griffith University (2015). In early 2023, Fred was accepted as a Fellow of the International Dental Implant Association. In March 2023, Fred was accepted as a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists.

Fred has also completed the Comprehensive Orthodontic Course at the International Academy of Advanced Dentistry (2018) and is an accredited Invisalign and SomnoMed provider. In 2019, Fred was accepted into the Australian Dental Association Queensland (ADAQ) Committee Member for Continuing Professional Development (CPD) which he served for 1 year.

Fred is particularly interested in implant dentistry, cosmetic dentistry and wisdom teeth extractions. Outside of clinical work, Fred has a keen interest in research. He has finished a thesis literature review. Fred’s appetite for on-going learning is insatiable. He has recently completed the Periodontics and Soft Tissue Mini-Residency with Dr. Sheng at the International Academy of Advanced Dentistry (2022), and has recently completed the Comprehensive Implant Course with Dr. Alex Loh in Melbourne.

Fred likes to give back, and has spent time abroad doing dental charity work. Fred has spent 3 weeks in Cambodia providing dental care to the nation’s most needy children in 2014, 2017 and most recently 2019. This has come to a halt temporarily due to Covid-19!

Outside of dentistry, Fred enjoys squash, cycling, skiing, wakeboarding and spending time with his young daughter, wife, family and friends.

Dr Sebin Lee is a dedicated associate dentist with a strong interest in restorative and surgical dentistry. She enjoys providing comprehensive care and takes pride in helping patients improve not only their oral health, but also their confidence in their smile.

Known for her gentle, detail-oriented approach, Dr Lee is empathetic, informative, and transparent in her care. She believes in clear communication and honest advice, ensuring patients feel comfortable, well-informed, and involved in every step of their treatment.

Outside the clinic, Dr Lee enjoys spending time outdoors with her dog, Coco. She loves exploring local walking trails, hiking at Mt Coot-tha, visiting nearby dog parks, and taking relaxing walks along the South Bank riverfront. Dr Lee is committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centred dentistry and continually updating her skills to provide the best possible care.

Ashleigh has been at Murrumba Downs Family Dental for 6 years and has over 12 years experience working as a Dental Assistant. Ashleigh enjoys welcoming patients into the practice and is passionate about getting to know them. She endeavors to ensure they feel comfortable and receive the highest quality of care during their visits to the clinic.

In her spare time Ashleigh enjoys spending time with her husband and two young boys, going to car events and playing outdoor activities together on the weekends.

With over 10 years working as a Dental Assistant, Kristina has a passion with providing the utmost patient care with a kind and understanding approach. Her most rewarding experiences are when she can work with anxious patients to create a space where they feel comfortable and welcome, and knowing patients are happy when seeing smiles on there faces after treatment.

When she’s not helping patients, Kristina enjoys spending time with her partner and golden retriever, dreaming about new camping locations, travel destinations and new recipes to cook up in the kitchen
